Huurre is according to its strategy one of the leading refrigeration companies in the fast growing Central and Eastern European cold storage and refrigeration market.

Huurre has been present in Russia already since the 1980's. Huurre's Russian subsidiary has over the years become a major supplier as cold storage contractor and as a refrigeration contractor and service-provider both within the industrial and the retail refrigeration market.

Huurre has been present in Hungary and the neighbouring countries since 1993 with Huurre Frigo Kft. It has become a major supplier in the industrial refrigeration market, as cold store contractor and as a service-provider both in industrial and retail market. In 2007 Huurre Group expanded its activity in Central and Eastern Europe by acquiring majority of the shares of Techno-Szer 2000 Kft in Hungary. Also a new subsidiary Frigo Huurre Srl was established in Romania.

Huurre has been present in Ukraine with its fully owned daughter company TOV Huurre Ukraine since 2004. This company has in recent years performed several cold-storage projects and rather complex turn-key projects of refrigerated distribution storages and food-processing plants.
